Unisel telah mengadakan satu majlis doa selamat serta penyampaian sijil penghargaan kepada petugas Industrial Ceerer Exposition 2008 yang telah berlangsung dari 6hb Jun hingga 8hb Jun 2008 yang lalu. Lebih kurang 3000 peluang pekerjaan telah diwujudkan pada program tersebut.

Universiti Industri Selangor, Unisel akan mengadakan Ekspo Kerjaya Industri yang akan berlangsung dari 6hb Jun hingga 8hb Jun 2008 bertempat di Dewan Raja Muda Musa Kompleks Belia dan Kebudayaan Selangor Seksyen 7 Shah Alam. Bersempena dengan cuti persekolahan dicadangkan agar ibu bapa/ penjaga meluangkan masa untuk membawa ahli keluarga mereka menziarahi serta mempelajari sesuatu dari Ekspo ini. Masuk adalah PERCUMA. Bagi graduan yang baru tamat kursus mereka, Ekspo ini menawarkan peluang untuk berjumpa dengan bakal majikan serta para pegawai dari badan perniagaan, perindustrian, perkhidmatan dan lain-lain.

- ICE 2008 is the first major state event jointly organized by UNISEL and MEF.
- Participating companies, organizarions and NGOs will exhibit their products, career opportunities and even participate in career talks and conduct interviews.
- ICE will be an annual event and with the continuous support from the government, academia and private bodies.
- It will be the biggest industrial career expo organized at the state level.
ICE 2008 Objectives
- To provide jobseekers and the unemployed graduates access with information and make contact with potential employers to obtain better employment opportunities.
- To provide advice and counseling to jobseekers on the career oppurtunities that are best to suited to their qualification and capabilities.
- To provide opportunities for qualified school leavers as well as working adults to pursue higher education at UNISEL.
- To create opportunities for companies in various sectors and industries to interface with the students, graduates and professionals.
- To create public awareness on the employers and their role in the national economic development.
ICE 2008 Mission
- ICE 2008 provides a dynamic and interactive learning environment where jobseeker can explore career and technical education programs, career options and job oppurtunities to be competitive in the ever-changing economy.
- Through exhibitors, attendees will learn the importance of career exploration, career development plans and life-long learning.

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP 2008
The International Conference On Entrepreneurship 2008 is being organised by the Faculty Of Management & Muamalah Of the Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor (KUIS) on the island resort of Langkawi from 27th to 28th of May 2008. The conference was officially opened by the Selangor State Executive Council Member fo Education, Higher Education and Human Capitl Development. The keynote Address was delivered by Tan Sri Dato' Muhammad Ali Hashim, the CEO of Johor Corporation. The Rector of KUIS and the Conference Director were amongst the VIP present at the opening ceremony.
At least 109 research papers are to be presented during the 2 day conference.
